It all began with a simple idea fuelled by the joy of hand stitching. My love for animal making started during a course I took in the sixth form many moons ago. Over the years, I continued stitching small animals as a way to supplement my income whilst training to become a teacher. But now, with more time to dedicate to my passion, Cherishedchums was born. During the Covid period, we expanded into creating kits, making it easier for others to join in the fun of bringing their own stitched creations to life.

As a small business, we take pride in offering personal attention and devoting ourselves to every detail of what we create. We know that not everyone feels confident in their stitching skills, and that’s completely fine! Even I’ve made plenty of mistakes, but they always work out in the end. That’s why we’re here to help.
